Senior Does
**Names are linked to ADGA pedigrees**

If you don't know me already, let me tell you I live a busy life! I am a graduate student at Oklahoma State University studying Agricultural Communications. Thanks to my family, I am still able to participate in my hobby 900 miles from home. However, it led to a massive herd reduction in 2022. Older does have been rehomed to 4-H families, or retirement homes. I do strive for longevity in my herd but given the current circumstances my numbers needed to be manageable, which everyone knows can be difficult with any livestock hobby!

I love the consistency of quality does I have gotten from Shadow, and "Kiss" is one of those. She is a very dairy doe with a beautiful, high, well attached mammary system. Her length of body also makes her a stand out in the barn.

One thing Harequinn FF Hershey's Kiss did was consistently reproduce well-attached and balanced udders on his daughters as you can see on "Affair" and Kiss above. Affair excels in depth of body, spring of rib, and dairy character. After being dried u-p early after her first freshening in 2021 due to mastitis, I am happy to see her freshen in even again as a three year old. This striking black doe would do well for a 4-H home or hobby farm looking for an easy hand milker.

I am excited to watch "Tease" grow and mature as a three and four year old. Despite having a single buck kid for her first freshening, her udder was still capacious and balanced. I also love how level her topline is, especially that rump! The future is bright with this one.

"Player" is another beautiful first freshener out of Castle Rock Niken. She is a well put together doe with a socked on productive udder. However, I did wish she was taller. This sweet doe would excel in a 4-H home or someone looking for a good brood doe.
